1 lb. bulk pork sausage
8 oz. refrigerated crescent rolls
4 eggs
2 T. milk
1/8 t. pepper
3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and lightly grease 9x13-inch baking pan.
In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Unroll crescent roll dough into prepared pan and press dough 1/2 in. up the sides; seal seams. Sprinkle with sausage.
In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk, and pepper; pour over sausage. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Notes: You can use ham instead of sausage for an equally tasty casserole.
