I love to eat. I also have a complete inability to wing it in the kitchen. These two facts have led me to collect lots of recipes from other people. I hope you find some recipes in the mix that you like. Please leave your questions or feedback (the good, the bad, and the undecided) in the comment section of each recipe you try!!

BANANA WHEAT BREAD
~ allrecipes
1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. honey
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla extract
2 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. wheat germ
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
In a small bowl, combine bananas, oil, honey, eggs, and vanilla. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, wheat germ, salt, and baking soda. Make a well in dry ingredients, and add the banana mixture. Mix together until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in nuts.
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake one hour or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
Makes one loaf.
Notes: This is not a super sweet banana bread, but it's still moist and tasty. We skip the pecans.
