BUTTERFINGER COOKIES

~ Sally's Baking Addiction

1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. salted butter, softened
1 egg (add one more if your dough seems too dry)
8 fun-size Butterfinger bars, chopped

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and set aside. In a separate bowl, beat  sugar and butter until creamy. Beat in egg until just combined.

Gradually add in flour mixture, then stir in Butterfinger pieces. The dough will be very thick. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to cooling rack.

Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.

Notes: The first time I made these was after searching for recipes to use up excess Halloween candy, but they're definitely tasty any time of year. Fun-size Butterfinger bars are 18-19 grams each, so you can use any size you want for this recipe, as long as you have about 150 grams total.
