1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2/3 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/3 c. butter, melted
2 t. vanilla
3 c. quick-cooking oats
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. sunflower seeds
1/2 c. raisins
1/3 c. wheat germ
2 T. sesame seed
1 c. chocolate, carob, or peanut butter chips (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13-inch pan.
In large bowl, combine brown sugar, peanut butter, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla; blend well. Mix in remaining ingredients. Press evenly into prepared pan.
Bake 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely.
Notes: A tasty combination of sweet and healthy ingredients, these can be a dessert or snack.
