BBQ PIE

~ allrecipes

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. diced onions
1/4 t. pepper
2 15 oz. cans baked beans
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. plus 1 T. barbecue sauce, separated
1 c. Bisquick, store-bought or homemade
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. shredded cheddar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Crumble meat on medium heat. When it starts to brown add onion and pepper, stirring until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender. Drain meat and add beans, Worcestershire sauce, and one cup of barbecue sauce. Pour into 9x13-inch pan.

In a separate bowl mix Bisquick, milk and egg. Pour on top of meat mixture. Bake 40-45 minutes until crust is golden brown. Remove from oven.

Spread remaining tablespoon of barbecue sauce over crust, then sprinkle cheese over warm crust before serving.

Notes: We like this best when when the crust is doubled, which it's not in the picture above, but it's also good made as directed.

Bethany - is there an easy way to print the recipes from your blog?

We are having this tonight - can't wait!

Kristal - I'm not sure. I print things out in Word, slip into a sheet protector, then put it in a 3-ring binder *before* I post them here. What if you highlighted the recipe, then used the option of printing only the selected text? I'll have to get back to you on any other ways. Sorry I'm not more helpful! :)
